DISCO offers complete compressor cylinder rebuilding. Send us a cylinder, assembled or disassembled. We will repair or replace any broken parts, reline or metal spray the cylinder bore, and reassemble and test the cylinder. We take pride in delivering a cylinder to you that’s rebuilt to OEM specifications or your unique requirements — and ready for installation. 
We can make pistons from castings or solid stock, and we also manufacture and recondition piston rods. We can machine parts up to 80 inches in diameter on our vertical turret lathe, or up to 96 inches in diameter using our horizontal boring mill. When we repair a valve, we reface, lap, weld when necessary, and replace springs, plates, and buttons. All valves are tested and packaged. We label every part for your immediate use or backup inventory.
We can manufacture replacement parts for a wide variety of equipment for many industries. We produce parts from sample parts, your prints, or the stock of standard drawings we’ve accumulated through four decades of experience. We use CNC equipment to guarantee the precise machining of identical parts for production runs of five — or 5,000.

Compressor Valves and More
DISCO has been repairing compressor valves for over 30 years, and we still do all the work in house. While other companies are only facing the seats on a lathe, we grind and lap all the valves we repair.
DISCO repairs all types of valves: ring, ported plate, radial, poppitt, channel, and strip valves. DISCO repairs valves from almost all manufactures in nearly all makes of compressors.
All valves are disassembled, cleaned and glass beaded. All components are then inspected, and repaired or replaced as needed. Seats are ground and lapped, and then the valves are reassembled with new springs and plates. We liquid leak test all valves before they are sent out. Your valves will be packaged and labeled along with new seat and cap gaskets. If you prefer to have valves boxed, we can accommodate that as well.
Other Valves
DISCO also repairs scavenger air valves for Cooper Bessemer and Ajax Engines. Also fuel injection and air start valves for all makes.
